I wonder how many times Brian Anderson has wanted to say to Bill Schroeder "Would you please shut up?"

It appears that teams win a high percentage of games when they get good starting pitching.

The would have coukd have shoukd have screams Price.....im expecting a deadline move for a high end pitcher.  I doubt the cards get the job done but it is their need.

The fall of this year has been wainwrights slow start and erosion and wachas collapse.

He's been better the last three weeks, but Price started the season so poorly that people here - who never overreact to anything, of course - wanted to hang him from the Citgo sign. Even though his record 7-1, a lot of that has to do with run support. His ERA is still over 5.00

Re: 5/31 GC

To your other point about a mid-season acquisition, I was thinking the same thing last night. I wonder who might be available from the Indians' disabled list.

Damnit Artie, if you're going to post things like this, at least warn me so I don't read them while drinking coffee at my desk... I'll be cleaning that mess up for a while....

Mlbtraderumers posted there top 10 trade deadline targets.  Pitching wise there was james shields and rich hill (who i thought was on a minor league deal).

Price has had some bad outing but i think he is settling in.  U put him at the top of the cards rotation and it is alot better.
