Just got a chance to watch, and seeing this makes me ask 2 questions:
1) This team turned a corner?
2) Holliday playing his way into having his option exercised?

I think it's a combination of the Cardinals playing well right now and the Pirates in a bit of a funk. They're going to miss Cervelli.
He'd have to end up around .280/25/80. The stats are doable, but it's a lot of dough for a guy who they've been replacing after seven innings when they have a lead.

I refuse to make any predictions about this team turning a corner because every time things start looking up, Mike Leake gets ambushed by the Reds or Zach Davies turns into Kevin Brown.

I think they will out of respect but holliday will have to take less of a roll. 16 million isnt to much to pay him imo. Maybe rework his deal for a 2 year deal.
