BLM.

Went to Chicago this weekend, very rainy. Terrible weather. Leaving Shed's Aquarium on Sunday, heading to the car we run into this black man who's yelling at a cop. The poor cop is covered in rain gear and applied some pesky letter of the law and wasn't ticketing or arresting the man. The guy is just screaming about how he's the wrong n---- to f--- with and absolutely causing a scene.

I wanted to film this and submit it to the media. While I understand some cops can harbor racist feelings, and I can understand others made bad judgment calls, I can honestly say I've never treated a police officer like that, and would expect there to be consequences if I ever did... I don't know how anyone could be that abusive to a man who's ARMED. He was practically begging the cop to handle him.

Seriously, I'd have been "placed on administrative leave" after about 40 seconds of that bullshit.

Re: BLM.

Because people think it is a police officers job to take an unending amount of bullshit without it effecting them like every other human on the planet under the rational that it is "their job".  For the most part law enforcement does a tremendous job of living up to these expectations.  If a plumber came to someones house because they called him to fix their probelm and the  homeowner told him what a miserable pos he was, how do you think his repair would go?

I think that's the most brutal part of this. They are in a profession where they are almost solely represented by the worst tenth of a single percent of the people in their field. Very said that the other 99.9% can conduct themselves with honor, service, and dignity and be treated like shit.

I have no idea why they continue to go to work. I would probably quit and find a job that's less abusive.

Re: BLM.

The part that angers me most is obama and him constantly commenting when he should stfu and wait for the facts.  He cause these reactions or at the very least contributes to the radical attituded.  Imo, he has blood on his hands at this point.  When ask for a moment of silence at the DNC for fallen officers blm supporters yelled black lives matter.  Thats not how a respectful organization behaves.

All i ask for is for him to wait for the facts and stop acting like law enforcement as a whole has this horrible problem.  It is unfair and dangerous to do such things as the head of the country.  He has cause so much racial divisions.  How can he expect for this open dialogue anout race when he keeps putting up these barriers?   He has cause this us vs them mentality like ive never seen before.

Okay now i will take my own advice and stfu

Re: BLM.

My son is a sheriff's deputy in the adjoining parish next to East Baton Rouge. He has filled in for tired overworked police there . He has done 3 motorcycle escorts to the gravesite of 3 ambushed officers . One of his close friends is on life support fighting to live at this moment . He knows exactly what you're talking about .

I definitely appreciate what your son has done and feel horrible for him and the other friends and family that have lost important people in their lives.
