That was an interesting first inning.

Walking Billy Hamilton probably isn't a good idea.

A leadoff hitter with speed probably makes it.

Completely off topic--either of you recording the Olympics to watch later. I don't want to post a spoiler if you are.

Pretty good decision to put Bowman out there a night after he throws two innings.

I've seen enough from Tommy Pham.
And for goodness sake, put Carpenter back on the DL.

Michael Phelps won his 20th and 21st gold medals tonight, including blowing the doors off of the South African who was trying to taunt him last night.
Serious question--is Phelps the most dominant athlete of this generation? He's currently at 21 golds. 2nd place all-time is 9. It's like if Tiger would have won about 40 majors. I realize he swims a lot of events, but he's done this over 5 Olympics now. That's crazy impressive.

The good news is there's only 4 more years left on his contract.

Hey Edmonds, I thought major leaguers don't swing at high fastballs.

Wow. Reyes might have been useful when the game was tied.

Can't put the kid in such a high leverage situation. Those are reserved for veterans.

If the beach volleyball chick wins her fourth gold medal, it's no contest. She's never lost a match in the Olympics. She's only ever lost one set. And volleyball is a lot tougher than swimming. Phelps won't even be the most dominant American in Rio, never mind the most dominant athlete of his generation.
