8/10 GC

DeSclafani vs. Garcia

Re: 8/10 GC

A loss tonight would make the Cards 2 - 8 in their last ten home series. I didn't tally the individual games, but the sweeps of Milwaukee and San Diego would mask the shittiness considerably.

Re: 8/10 GC

Maybe we'll get the good Garcia tonight instead of the maddening, frustrating, I want to stick needles in my eyes so don't have to watch version.

Im so over him.  I think not getting a run in from third base with less then 2 outs is the most frustrating thing in baseball.

I would add Reyes and go to a 6-man rotation.

Re: 8/10 GC

Oh bailed matheny out for leaving garcia in to long.  No reason to let garcia face the second batter in the 9th.

He got away with at least two, maybe three, pitches to Duvall. I don't know why Matheny didn't take him out as soon as Votto reached.

Oh was ready.  Garcia is a headcase. I get sending him out there.  They yank him last start with almost the same results.  You have to reward him but after a guy reached i would have had a short leash. I just dont get it but at least they won.
