It's time to sweep at home, but I think they will lose this series

Bloop and a blast ...

That was a rocket off Grichuk's bat.

Weaver needs a better number.

Is the strike zone a bit malleable tonight?

I knew there would be a Chuck Finley reference tonight.

Carpenter is 2-12 since Danny Mac insisted that he was restored to his magical leadoff position. And one of those was a bloop hit.

If they announce an attendance of more than 40,000, I'm calling bullshit. There are a ton of empty seats in the upper deck.

The Pattonville Pirates are looking tonight to even their record at 1-1.

John Burroughs also lost last week. Biggest upset in the state.

Your blaming him?

Never mind. Carl Junction beat Webb City. THAT was the biggest upset in the state.

Another needless out on the bases.

I don't think we start here until the Friday after Labor Day. My kid still has another week of summer vacation.

Missouri's regular season will be halfway over by then.

Pattonville succeeded in evening its record despite possibly setting a high school game record for penalties which included 15 yard penalties for talking to the referee, not talking to the referee, roughing the passer when a defender hit a RB, 12 holding calls, three blocks in the back, an illegal participation call where the O-lineman got his helmet ripped off his head and got flagged for not quitting the play and several others that weren't as memorable.

Perhaps a name change from Pirates to Raiders is in order.

Hmm. Sounds like the referees had Mehlville +20. Good for Pattonville for overcoming that.
Webb City lost again last night. This has to be the biggest story of the season.
