Mets get one run in the tenth.

I'd like to meet the genius at Fox who decided to pair Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe. The government should use that show to torture incarcerated terrorists.

Hard to argue that point, but their segment today on Jeff Fisher being a terrible coach who should be fired immediately was pretty entertaining.

Fisher is still coaching the Rams? I would have thought they'd have hired someone who has actually had success in the current millennium to correspond with their ... um, new mailing address.
I made it through week one without watching a snap of the NFL. I think I may be cured.

The Rams opened the 2016 season by being shut out 28-0 by the 49ers who aren't very good.
Case Keenum played QB for the Rams because the guy the QB they drafted #1 overall wasn't good enough to even dress out for an offense that had 10 first downs and 9 punts. LMAO!!!

I was asleep when this happened, but the Padres were down to their last strike when Detlef Schrimpf hit a 3-run homer to put them ahead, 6-4. San Diego won the game.

So it's safe to assume the only football players getting paid to play in Los Angeles remain at USC?

I'd watch if they paired him with Troy Aikman. That would be some seriously entertaining TV.

I think they stopped paying the USC players after Pete Carroll left. Which might explain their recent record and the 52-6 pasting by Alabama to start the season.

A read a story a couple weeks ago that Aikman tore into some executives at Fox when he found out Bayless had been hired. Got to agree with Troy on this one. I don't know if he's gay or straight, but I know it's no business of Skip Bayless.

I have a buddy who is a USC grad. One of the best guys I know, but he doesn't know whether a football is stuffed or inflated. Last weekend, as the Trojans were running it up on Utah State, he posted on Facebook "This is more like it!" or something to that effect.
