It was long gone from the schedule page, but Yahoo still had (has) a link from yesterday saying the Marlins had pushed Fernandez' start back from today to the first game of the Mets series.

It's still very sad that this happened, but you have to make better decisions than that if you want to stay alive, even if you are an incredible young pitcher....

Not to be cruel or judgemental because i think everyone has made bad decisions in life....still it is hard to feel sorry for a millionaire high on coke and drunk off his ass. I do feel bad for the family.

That's about the best way to define my feelings on this as possible. I'm borderline contemptuous for what the young man wasted, but he paid a very dear price for the mistake and it seems evil to point a blaming finger at a man who died for his mistakes.
