9/25 GC

Mets 17, Phillies 0
If you've gonna lose, try to wear the other team out by making them run the bases a lot.

Re: 9/25 GC

Good grief.

Be nice for the cards to win tonight.  Lester has been pretty tough tho.

Being able to hit a hr should be a requirement to bat 3rd

The mute button is about to be employed. I'm getting really tired of ESPN's rooting for the Cubs.

Did I fall asleep under a tree for 20 years? When did David Ross become Johnny Bench?

That's got to be a first. A manager going to the mound to take out a catcher.

Re: 9/25 GC

Too bad Martinez didn't get to pitch to the same strike zone the Cubs are getting.

Re: 9/25 GC

I'd like the umpires to explain why the Cubs are awarded a run because the third base umpire got the call wrong on Russell's hit that landed on the foul line. There's no guarantee he's going to score. He could fall rounding third. He could get struck by lightning. He could get hit by a bus. You never know.

I wondered that to.  Figured the cards got a break on that call and would end up with the runner staying at third.  No so

Now Piscotty is hurt because the bullpen mounds are five feet from the foul line in this fucking dump of a ballpark.

You get two bases on a ground rule double, but that wasn't a ground rule double. The third base umpire missed the call. Why does that cost the Cardinals a run?

Re: 9/25 GC

Well it's The Cardinals last stand . MM is either General Custer or General Patton . I'd like to see him show some fire and stick up for his players . Or find a manager who will .
Penciling in Moss every game in the top of the lineup is insane . What is he ? 6 for his last 80 ? Hoping he'll hit the big HR . LaRussa would not have put up with Cardinals getting hit by opposing pitchers without retaliation . He would have been ejected over plate umps calling two sided zones.
Cut out all the lollygagging shit in the dugout and just play the damn game and play hard injuries or not .
Shit or get off the pot - see 2017

"MM is either General Custer or General Patton"

I'm going with Custer. He's starting Garcia tonight.
