No Heyward again tonight?

It's highly unlikely with Lester starting against Bauer, but how much fun would it be if Cleveland could win tomorrow night and celebrate at Wrigley

There was a headline on Yahoo after Game 3 that the Indians "ruined" the return of the World Series to Wrigley Field.
Because, of course, you know, everyone is rooting for the Cubs.

This is slightly dated, and it may be unfair to judge the "genuineness" of a fan willing to fork over $5k plus for one seat, but I'll do it anyway. Hopefully Game 6 and 7 prices are crashing as we type:

Cubs are on the ropes...maybe the world isnt coming to an end. Glad i didnt empty the bank account.

At least these asshats won't get to watch the Cubs celebrate a championship at Wrigley Field. I wouldn't have been able to watch that.

Do these idiots have to jump out of their seats every time someone hits a routine fly ball?

I'm not sure this is won yet. Don't the Cubs have Arrieta coming off full rest for game 6?
The Indians are in danger of a big collapse here. Game 5 was a game they needed to win, and didn't shut the door.

If the Indians lose, the "collapse" will appear bigger than it really is. With Lester and Arrieta pitching against Bauer and Tomlin, the Cubs are/were heavy favorites to win games 5 and 6.
The only real chance Cleveland had in this series was to win all of Kluber's starts, and hope to steal one of the games he didn't start. Kluber has won twice, and they managed to win game 3. The Indians were up 3-1, but the series was/is far from over.

I thought this was comical but the headlines say offensive.

I was definitely pretty sad how that finished. What a terrible time for a rain delay. I think Chicago was given a divine blessing with that, because if they don't have time to regroup, I think Cleveland can ride that momentum. I am disgusted that a 200 million dollar piece of garbage can get carried that hard to a title.
That said, Chicago won. I'll tip my hat, and be happy for most of them. Great team really, if they can get rid of that albatross in right and the wife beating closer. The rest of them are guys that play the game the right way and are easy to admire. So I'll take comfort in that aspect of the win.
