Yordano Ventura dies in car accident
25 years old. Single car accident.
Is it just me or does this seem to be happening more frequently? Tavares, Fernandez and Ventura all in about a 2 year span.

I read something over the weekend that the roads in the D.R. are, not unsurprisingly, substandard. There is a team - and it may even be the Royals - which advises their Dominican players to exercise extreme caution when they're behind the wheel at home.
It's, as we've seen, a lethal combination - bad roads, inexperienced drivers, expensive cars and, at least in Taveras' case, alcohol.

Fernandez as well. Id say it is fast living and poor choices more then the roads. Withholding judgement on the latest until fact are known of course.
