And now everyone is trying to play home run derby with Latos' 89 mph fastball.

The good thing about Wong making an error is it won't affect his performance for the rest of the day ... week ... season.

Well when you sign someone to an extension like they did wong it guarantees them an everyday spot. Just ask him.

In the tiniest bit of defense, Tsunamy hung him out to dry with that weak-ass bunt attempt, but that was inexcusable.

I hate kolten wong. If i do go to a game this year i need to get a shirt that says that.

If you're keeping track, that's six errors in not quite 15 innings in this series.

This is a 70-75 win team. They can try to tell people it's better than that, but the reality is, it isn't. I just hope that the spotlight eventually lands on the person responsible for putting together this roster. Anyone with any baseball acumen whatsoever could tell you that this roster is poorly constructed. But this is what Moz chose to put together and sell to the public as an 85-90 win team. Now he needs to be held accountable.

I think this game puts the club in the lead in this prestigious category.

I can deal with them being shit. I cant deal with watching them keep round peg square hole-ing this thing. Make changes! Wong needs to go along with a handful of others.

They need to blow it up. Start with Carpenter. He's older than Adam Eaton, but he should be worth at least 2 elite prospects given the team friendly contract. Rosenthal can help a contender this year, as could Oh. Lynn could help someone as well.
I'd keep Martinez, and Molina probably has more value to the organization than he does anywhere else (probably Wainwright also). If they're happy with Piscotty, I don't have a problem keeping him, and I'd move Diaz to 2B to see if he can not be a liability there.
Either that or do what the Cubs did (and teams like the Braves/Padres are doing now) and just tank the whole thing and try to come back in 5 years.

Well i dont think you can go out and get a berkman or beltran and fix anything. It is beyond that.

I think dewitt and mo will be slow to admitt failure and disassemble this team. The run of competitive baseball in STL has been long and has built dewitt a fortune. The greed will make them want to milk the last drops.

If this game goes 15 or 16 innings , the nightcap should be fun ...

Id still trade him
