The sniper has been captured, and has apologized to the woman , saying he was aiming at Wong .
Wong actually tried to catch the bullet. He dropped it, picked it up and fired an errant throw into the stands, striking the poor woman.
The bullet passed within 3 inches of Aledmys Diaz's left hand, but he lacked the range to field it.
