    Wait, so let's see if I understand this, the Cardinals are already carrying only 4 bench players (one of whom is the backup catcher), and they're not going to put Fowler on the DL which is now only 10 days.

    Even on the dl pham is of equal value to adams.

    It is pretty dumb

    The Braves announcers said Fowler is available to pinch hit tonight, and he may start tomorrow. I assume they got that information from McLaughlin and whichever color man got sentenced to ... er, made the trip to Atlanta.

    This is the Braves' broadcast in a nutshell - they start talking about Adam Wainwright and what a great pitcher he's been and after 10 seconds start ripping him for his lousy start to the season ... while they're showing Michael Wacha on the screen.
    And as I'm writing this Simpson just compared Sam Freeman to Aroldis Chapman.
