Martinez kept Friday's game close until the eighth, and then Bowman and Socolovich got bombed. The Cardinals hit into four double plays.
Waino was very good last night. Rosenthal loaded the bases in the eighth but got Cargo to swing at a bad pitch for the last out of the inning. Oh made things interesting in the ninth again but he held on.
