DeJong with a tweener . Right between the legs .........

These aren't "little things," Dan. The Cardinals are making egregious mistakes that are costing them ballgames.

Why is he throwing to third???

Damn. I didn't know they were playing a day game.

I guess the operative word is "playing." Maybe I should have said "playing at."
I can't imagine Kelly sitting on the bench anywhere but I guess that's what they have in mind.

Geez that would have been a good time to have Matt Adams pinch hit, wouldn't it?

I'm not sure there's anything more he can accomplish in the minor leagues, and Fryer wasn't really helping them.

I know there's no outs, but Carl's Jr. Isn't paying any attention to Carpenter.

Do you blame him?

Our bullpen will make it a nail biter ....

Cubs must not have seen Marmol stop Kelly physically at first ....

The Cardinals will now go scoreless in the next 6 games ...

Nice inning.

Contreras has had more work this inning than the catchers they use at those amateur tryouts.

I saw my first professional game in 1953. I've been watching ML games on t.v. or in person since the All Star game 1953. Matt Carpenter is the worst baserunner I've ever seen.

Nice going, Fouler. Injure the best player on the team.

Wow. I have to think about that one. I saw Rico Petrocelli get picked off first base twice in the same game once. The third time he reached base, the people in the stands were politely urging him to forego a lead.
