I think we can agree with unanimity the team would be a lot better off if the people running it would read this message board.

I'm fairly certain we'd do better than Matheny.  Then again, I think that cat that ran on the field last night would be a better manager than Matheny.

I didn't think anyone here had noticed how much more enthusiasm Molina has shown since Kelly's call up.  It's unfair to Kelly.  But that's baseball as a business.  Kelly should have been starting for someone this season if everything was fair.  We're talking about money, however, and keeping fans happy.

As to Arte's point about the Rule 5 risk, I think they can keep him as long as he's on the 40 man roster.  The only risk will come if and when he's out of options.  But I could be wrong.

Does that mean I am no longer eligible to participate?

The horrible throw last night that ended up in centerfield aside, I think Molina's defense has been better this year than last. Whether that's because he thinks Kelly is pushing him, I can't say.

His defense seems to have improved since Kelly came up and he's hitting more like a guy who wants to help his team win.  I even noticed him running fairly hard to first base once.

At least we know that cat isn't afraid of confrontation.

We just got you back, and I fear we've lost TK and Alz for good, though this winning streak the Cardinals are on might bring them back.
Max was on here for awhile, but he left in a huff a few years ago. I'm can't remember all the details, but I'm fairly sure the phrase "Go fuck yourselves" was involved.
