    Twitter is blowing up that the Cardinals are close to a deal with Holland.

    Jon Heyman was the first to report it.

    Damn..must be cold in hell.  Hope it is a hood deal and they dont over pay.  Imo the cardinals have the upper hand.  Hoping for one or two years with an AAV of 10mill or below.

    Reporting 1 year 14million.  Excellent deal.

    No such thing as a bad one year contract and i dont give a shit about the dry powder reserve.  Bottom line is the cards can afford it and it makes the team better.

    Maybe they will turn out to be decent and the card will have a formidable bullpen.  That can go along way in being a playoff team.  Its opening day.  This is as optimistic as i will be over the next 4 months.

    He's on my fantasy team. So is Schwarber, one of the only two guys other than the pitcher to not get a hit in that inning.
