That's a long time between the first and second game.
My fraternity lost one intramural softball game in the four years I was college. My senior year, the intramural department decided for the first time to hold the softball playoffs as part of the spring fling event,. So we were the number one seed and played the 8 a.m. game. Everyone was sober. We played the semifinals at 10 a.m.. Everyone was relatively sober. The final was as 6 p.m., because they wanted a crowd under the lights. Our second baseman passed out at noon. Our centerfielder threw up in the dugout during warmups. Our pitcher was so drunk he fell down in the first inning and had to be helped off the field. I had to pitch, I don't know how to pitch a softball. We lost to a bunch of freshmen, something like 13-1. It was like the Soviet hockey team losing to the United States in the 1980 Olympics. If the Russians have been drinking Smirnoff all day.
As an aside, my roommate - who was not on our softball team - was so drunk that day he fell off a camel. It's been almost 30 years to the day since that happened, and I still give him shit about it on a weekly basis.

Because we lost the 8:00 pm game, we play again at 9:30 (be there by 8:30). If we lose we’re done, but if we win the next game is at 2.

Honestly, I hope we lose early. Madison has her history final on Monday and she really needs the time to study. We studied today between the first and second games, but I’d rather not do it again at the park.
