I'm really pleased for Gomber (as well as the other two call-ups), but I fear that his call-up says something pretty sad about Tyler Lyons (whom I pull for as much as any other player).

I'm pleased for Gomber, too. Maybe he'll actually get into a game this time, Or at least see some of the sights be missed during his first trip to St. Louis.

He was 2 for his last 19 with 13 Ks.
Before the season there were a lot of comparisons to Grichuk. I haven't seen anything that suggests that comparison isn't spot on.
