Wasnt out of range. He made it to a ball tailing in the corner and it bounced off his glove. Cost them a run. At least one.He was “gliding” into the right field corner, flipped his glove over casually, and let the ball roll out of the pocket. A good distance from the wall.
So basically, a routine catch (for Bader) that any outfielder who hustles (like Bader) would have made easily.
Idk if bader is ready to be an everyday player but id take him everyday over dex.

Is there any other team in the league with a #3 hitter who has only six home runs?
Washington
A. Rendon- 6 HR
Of course, Washington's #2 hitter has 18 HR
Actually, Joey Votto only has 6 HR also

At this point in his career, he's probably a handy fourth outfielder on a good team. The important part of that sentence being "on a good team."

I think Votto's objective at this point in his career is to draw a walk in every plate appearance, so he can finish the season with zero official at bats.
How many HR does Scooter have?

Well thank goodness the Cardinals weren't swept at home by the Marlins.

Well done, sir.
The Cardinals' game on Sunday starts at 1:10 p.m. My son's high school graduation starts at 2. You think it would be OK to skip graduation to watch the game and then tell him I'll hook up with him when he graduates from college?
Unless the Cardinals are also playing that day, of course.

He is probably more focused on the after graduation activities then your attendance anyway. Leave him 40 bucks and a rubber and youll be a cool dad and get to watch the game.

You better stop talking about Dexter, lest ye all be deemed racists.

Dear Dexter,
Please go away. And take your hypersensitive wife with you.
Thanks.

The writer of the article (Cwik) comes across to me as a crypto--asshole.

Just add it to the interminable list of an old term designed to become racist because someone decided it be such .
Screw her and screw Dexter .

So swag is a racist term now. Can i have a list of terms that are considered racist? Maybe i should be offened that me as a white person cant have swag. I feel offended. Wait i must not be critical because she elluded to the magical term that wins every black vs white arguement...the race card.
It surely cant be that her husband is batting under the mendoza line and seems more concerned with high fiving his old teammates then playing for his current team. Nope, couldnt be. Card fans just hate black people.

I thought swag meant valuable stuff that was appropriated by pirates. But I'm a decidedly uncool middle aged white guy.

It's senior week for my son and his classmates. One of his friends came over the other night to pick him up for the Senior Banquet. He saw me watching the Cardinals/Marlins game and said "Wow, Mr. Vincent, It's really interesting that you still watch baseball."
So I'm not nearly as cool as I think.
