I'm not in a good mood today. Probably not a good time for me to watch Weaver pitch.

I haven't been feeling well. I'm sick of watching bad baseball.

Tidy 32-pitch inning.

Weaver just walked the pitcher on four pitches.

Isnt it like the fishing saying. A bad day of fishing is still better then a good day at work? Idk, maybe that doesnt apply.

This is going to seem strange coming from someone who lives a half-mile from a really big ocean, but I'd rather watch bad baseball than go fishing. In fact, I'd probably rather do anything that doesn't involve actual physical pain than fish.

Well, if they hadn't fowlered Friday's game, it would have been a decent series.
The unfortunate part is by winning the past two days, they probably gave Matheny a reprieve. I really believe if they had been swept in this series, the front office would have fowlered the manager.

That would over been well worth a couple extra in the L column.

I cant say i am a huge fan. Not of rod and reel anyway. Go to grandpas pond once or twice a year. However we do a thing called bank pole fiahing that is a lot of fun. Involves putting a pole in the bank, baiting it with live fish and checking it by boat throughout the night. Its a good time and your always busy doing something.

I'm way too hyper to relax like that. My wife's best friend and her husband bought a second house on a lake in New Hampshire about two years ago and they've been trying to get me to go up there ever since. I won't go. I'm not fighting traffic on a Friday afternoon to get to New Hampshire to spend 36 hours in the middle of nowhere watching the fucking grass grow. What would end up happening is I'd be on my phone following the Cardinals, pissed off that I wasn't watching them on TV, getting no sleep because I'm not in my own bed and dreading the 3-hour ride back to Boston.
