I don't think I've ever seen a righthanded hitter hit a home run to right field in this ballpark.

I wasn’t sure it was possible.

I hope Bochy leaves Cueto in until he shreds his elbow.

It really messed up my plans to get to bed early. I can’t bring myself to turn off the t.v. when Cueto is getting his butt kicked.

Note to Luke Weaver: This is what happens when you have confidence in your stuff and get ahead in the count.

We New Englanders are a bunch of pansies. Thursday is the day we're supposed to work until 7 p.m., but the temperature was above 90 degrees for the sixth straight day today and the mayor sent us home at 4:30.

All this talk about the weather makes me think about Bill Sarni, but I’m too tired to explain tonight.

With the holiday on Wednesday, this week has been pretty messed up.

You not work in an air conditioned building?

The building is nearly 90 years old. It was built during the Depression, before HVAC was a thing. We have room air conditioners, but they're insufficient. We shut the a/c off when we left on Tuesday and when I showed up yesterday the office was 86 degrees. When we left yesterday, my boss set the a/c for 4:30 this morning and right now it's 79 degrees in the room.

I'm still in for less than a year, so I haven't started to cruise yet, much to the astonishment of my co-workers. One of my roles here is to process paperwork for liquor licenses. The owner of a restaurant across the street is applying for a new beer and wine license. The paperwork he gave me was incomplete. So I walked over to his restaurant and had him fill out the missing forms. By the reaction here when I returned, you would have thought I was Sir Edmund Fucking Hillary.

As someone who has worked in local government for 14 years ill give you some advice. Relax your throat and tickle the balls. From what ive seen it is more effective then any amount of actual work. It must be an acquired taste i just cant acquire tho. None the less leave the damn ac on. With all the government waste a running ac unit isnt near the top concern. I work in a similar building, built in 1908. Hunk of fucking shit is what it is. The thing didnt even have electricity when it was built. All we have upstairs is a window unit. I had a small to mild come apart when it kept getting turned off and i had to start my day with a case of swamp ass. It stays on now.

The building that housed the police department where I worked did, at least, have air conditioning. It also was replete with asbestos and black mold and was finally condemned more than 15-20 years after the discovery of the hazardous material. At present, the department is operating out of a pair of double wide portable buildings until funding can be raised to build a new building.

Currently they are talking about a new facility. Have been for 10 years on an off tho. The current idea from old McDonald had a government subsidies farm is to build a pole barn over a 1980s addition and encompass it into the plans. Also to build it has they get money. Sort of like Johnny cash's Cadillac i guess. Dumb as fuck.
