Cubs 5, Cardinals 2: Gant throws five effective innings, but has to come out of the game due to a high pitch count and the Cubs tee off on the bullpen. Carpenter hits a pinch-hit solo homer in the eighth.

If the score had held, you’d have moved up to Hermione Granger status.

There may be a few ahead of him, but Pedro Strop might have the most punchable face in MLB.
