Liz vs. Senzatela
Didn't this mediocre pitcher carve up the Cardinals like a Hickory Farms summer sausage a couple of years ago?

Mikolas advances to third on a wild pitch, but Carpenter can't make it to second?

'Spose any time the pitcher scores, it's a bonus, but you'd like to get at least two runs out of a first-and-third, no one out situation.

Mikolas needs to put that in his back pocket

I'm following on-line. What happened to Ozuna?

Per Twitter, discomfort in his toe (I swear I'm not making that up)

These reviews where the player is safe but the review shows the foot came off the bag are annoying.

I just hope that doesn't land him on the DL.

It's counterintuitive to how every umpire is trained. The foot beats the tag, an umpire - especially one who has been around long enough to make it to the major leagues- almost reflexively calls the runner safe.

Don't laugh, but Schildt may keep this job. The aggressive baseball, especially on the bases will win over the fans.

I like the aggressivity on the basepaths.

Three of four against Colorado, even at home, won't hurt his resume.

Yep and i think unless it is blatantly clearly missed the call on the field should stand. The call us about the throw and the runner...it isnt about if the runners hand popped off the bag by a half inch for a half second in super slow mo. That isnt baseball.

Its impressed me. Im not saying give him the job. I havent seen enough and that decision doesnt have to be made right now. However these last 2 games have been more fun to watch then the first half of the season.

The decision to give Bader the green light in the 9th was ballsy. You have a runner at 3rd and 1 out. You’ve got a great chance to tie it. Sending the runner says, “fuck it, let’s win now.” I like that.

Also unexpected which made it easier.
Dejong was a bit suprising but using baders and oneill speed on the bases is a must.
