Re: 8/26

Since Web doesn’t post here anymore, and we have a male-only room, can someone please explain the logic of this.

With Bob gone, I now have grass cutting responsibility. Last week I cut the front yard on Saturday, planning to do the back Sunday, but it rained. I made sure to cut the back yard this weekend since it had been 2 weeks, but it’s hotter than hades here today (heat index is 107), so I’m not cutting the front. Michele blew a gasket.

First off, let me say I’m one of those people who couldn’t care less what his yard looks like. Our lawn is nothing but a mass of weeds anyway. I said, I could alternate cutting the front or back each weekend. She wants me to hire a kid to cut it, but the kid she wants me to hire wants $50 to cut it and I’m not paying $200/month to have my grass cut. Her solution, have him do it every other week. 🤔

How exactly is cutting the whole yard every other week different from me cutting the front one weekend and the back the other?  (Other than the fact that one wat costs me $100 and the other is my idea)

Wonder the last time someone had 40 HR and 40 2B in a season.

Is it me, or are the Rockies playing what Hrabosky would describe as "lacksadasical" today?

I went for the low-hanging fruit and found that Albert did it in '09, then checked and saw Trout hasn't yet. Not sure I have time to do more digging.

I hate mowing the lawn. The only thing I hate worse is paying someone to mow it. Zach is awful at it. His only objective was to get it over as quickly as he could. He'd miss sections and leave clumps of clippings all over the yard. The best part is it drives my next door neighbor nuts. He told me if his boys had mowed the lawn the way Zach does when they were teenagers, he would have grounded them. I wanted to respond that's why his kids only ever visit him on Thanksgiving and Christmas, but that would be cruel.

Bonds never did it. He only had more than 40 doubles once.

I really enjoy yard and garden work so im probably not one to ask.  I probably mow every 5 days with all the rain this summer.

How long does it take for you to mow?  Push mower or a rider?
