I’m really glad the Cardinals aren’t chasing a playoff spot so they can give charity starts to aging veterans who want to say goodbye to the fans. Maybe Chris Carpenter can fly in to make Saturday’s start, and with enough notice, maybe Gibson can start a game on the final home stand.

Exciting game once waino left. Adams big hr and dejong play to end the game were dramatic. Ive not seen a play made that deep in left by a short stop with a successful throw in a long time.
