I watched most of the game at my dad's. Wainwright probably has one more start. If he pitches as well in that one as he has in the last two, he's probably in the conversation for being on the post-season roster. The Giants' first run scored after a bad call by the home plate umpire and the only hard-hit ball off him in the seventh was Pence's single to lead off the inning (after which I would have taken out Wainwright, BTW).

I wasn't watching the game, but I was surprised they let Wainwright go back out for the 7th. I guess the idea was to save the bullpen, but it isn't like Wainwright is all that stretched out. Glad it didn't cost them

The way i look at it is that waino probably is not going to be that good, but he probably is not going to be that bad.

No help again from Arizona. I suspect the Colorado people are saying the same thing about the Giants.
Cardinals could really use another win today. The Brewers and Cubs aren’t going to roll over.
