What a pair of terrible at bats by Carpenter and Martinez.

When is the last time the Cardinals had a lead?

Why do I sense this game is going to end up 11-3?

I'm factoring a solo home run in the ninth by Our MVP Candidate so he can break the record for most home runs in a season against the Cubs.
Which will look nice on his Hall of Fame plaque.

Now I'm kind of hoping the game ends 5-4, with the margin being a run that came in a walk to an opposing pitcher who is hitting .065.
Because Bud Norris is a warrior who wants the ball every day.
I'm really starting to question the new guy's competence.

Geez, and I thought the umpiring in the Milwaukee series was bad.
And Phil Cuzzi is behind the plate tomorrow ...

Are righthanders allowed to hit the ball to rightfield?

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out if Carpenter can break the record for most home runs in a season against the Cubs. Not sure if I'll be able to sleep tonight.
