Wow. That's a great way of describing O'Neill. I felt that way about Matt Holliday most of the time he was with the Cardinals. The last time I truly felt a player was going to get a hit every time the Cardinals needed one was the year Pujols almost single-handedly carried them. The year they tried to pass off Cementhead Wells as their #2 starter and Edmonds and Rolen were both hurt. Maybe 2007. And what was astonishing was other teams kept pitching to him.
