Hearing a deal is very close. Miller was at Busch all day for a physical. Could be announced tomorrow or Friday if he checks out ok.

Hmm, odd. For some reason i got the feeling miller was down on their list. I thought the list of options were:
Britton
Lefty through trade
Miller
But that was just because of the lack of rumors i heard about miller.

Thats not bad. Expensive but the cards can afford it and they need his talent. I just hope last year was fluke down year.
I also hope they are still shopping for a late inning arm. I dont think hicks is ready yet

Don't rule out Miller being the closer. He did have 36 saves in 2015

Id be fine with that. If he is option A i still think they need an option B because i see hicks as a third option in a good bullpen. And if miller is closer they will still need a lefty specialist.
And in my head luke gregerson doesnt exist.
