Cards are on pace to strike out, what, about 10,000 times in 2019.

Not really the start we were hoping for, eh?

Because he's the only one they could trick into going to Milwaukee in March?

Fouler wants to hit so bad he refuses to take a walk.

Wong gone!

Damn, bader does the back to back thing.
Those were both long shots.

Smart move by Shildt putting the power at the bottom of the lineup.

He needs folks to pick up Fowler with his high OBP.

I'm curious what kind of year Wong can have out from under the watchful eye of Mike Matheny, but I always get concerned when I see Wong hit a HR because it seems like he tries to pull everything for the next month.

Same here. My first thought was “Oh shit. The return of Babe Wong.”

I wasnt going to say it. Figured i have used up my pessimistic posts for the first half of this game. Like red flags in the nfl, saving some back.

Goldschmidt looks like he has been in the cardinals lineup for years.

Things suddenly went to shit

I like the idea of hit and run after the first bunt didnt work

I like the 3-0 bunt with carp. He is getting robbed every game of hits because of the shift. He is probably going to take a strike and try and draw a walk anyway. Slap bunting the ball pass the pitcher shouldnt be hard.

Fuck it, Wong's on pace for 324 HR. Swing away big boy, swing away.

I'm guessing that pitching from the shade into the sunshine, the Cardinals have no chance to hit Hader.

Good guess.

Hader's arm is going to fall off by Memorial Day.

Wong couldn’t have looked more helpless than Fowler.
