After 8 year, you'd think he'd be smarter about this...

Apparently Albert still wants us to believe that it wasn't about money.  He just didn't feel appreciated by the Cardinals ownership.

No Albert, people in St. Louis don't think it was about the money.  After 7+ years, people in St. Louis don't care anymore, especially given your performance in Anaheim.  Well, at least not until you decide to insult our intelligence by claiming that it wasn't about money.

Some people just don't understand that sometimes it's better to just shut up.

I will say that the angels could probably wow him better then the cardinals.  New relationship, bigger city, bigger bank account vs st louis realistic approach...

At this point, the smartest thing he could do is stop talking about it.

It’s’s a little disingenuous to say “I really wanted to be like Jeter and play for one team, but the game has changed,” while acknowledging he turned down a 10 year deal worth over $200M because he felt unappreciated.
