Pretty good game. In the overreaction that is a baseball season, maybe they dont suck.

I think he is underrated

Chris Davis of the Orioles set a new MLB record. He’s now 0 for his last 48 (and counting) dating back to last season.
Davis hit .168 last year. He’s owed $68M through 2022
Yikes!!!

Another good inning for Gant

I like him better then their minor league options as a spot starter

Agreed.
Bob went to his first official Redbird game Saturday night. He was also at the game the Cardinals and Redbirds played before the season started.
I’ll have to get to a game at some point when we’re down there to visit. Park looks really nice.

I wonder what the consequences will be of Wacha throwing 120 pitches his last start.
Honestly, I’m not sure they care.
I say that only half sarcastically. Wacha is a free agent after this year. With all of his injury problems, I can’t imagine they’ll give him a long term deal. I think they’re going to pitch him until his arm falls off.

End Fors
I figured that. But I'm not sure they are that eager about losing him from the rotation until they are sure they have a replacement for him (or for Gant, if they go that route).

Long story short, the website wouldn't let him post for a few days.

I was able to sign in but every time I tried to post, I got a message that read, approximately, "You do not have permission to post to this topic."
I'm blaming Comcast. Between Comcast, Apple, my health insurance provider and my wife driving her car like she's in the Daytona 500, I'm going to lose my shit.

I had a guy service my jeep. He came and picked it up at my house. I always leave the hood unlachted because i check the fluid before i drive it. Well he didnt see that and i didnt think to latch it. End result was my hood flying up and crinkling up. Now i need a new one. Fml.

Many years ago, my wife had the same thing happen on her MR2 as she was driving in rush hour traffic. But it was the guy at the service station who had failed to get the hood in the latch.
Comcast is the worst company I have to deal with.

She bought a convertible last year because she's always wanted one. We've had the car for eight months - four of which it's been parked in the garage - and she's blown out three tires, including one today. She doesm't know how it happened. She pulled intlo the parking garagr at work, got out of the car and noticed the tire was flat. I'm thinking a deranged unicorn is mad at her. It's as plausible as any other explanation.

Sirius XM. Doing business with them is like being married to Kathy Bates' character in "Misery."

You must be a relative. I began to experience that with a vengeance around the mid080's and it's not let up. Either a product becomes so popular (rarely) that I give up on the price or fighting the crowds for it or, as is most often the case) the company discontinues it for lack of profitable demand. Lack of demand was always a problem because of my general inability to get caught up in trends, changing fashions, and the neurotic need for something new. But now I've reached the age where my tastes are even more out of line with the general population.
I probably have more in common with the young men on this board than with the population in general of the same age But even there the age gap really shows. I have been a cowboy movie fan since my Dad managed a movie theater when I was 4 and suspect I have seen almost every Western (except for many of the foreign jobs of the 60's and later) made ater the 1930's. And I saw almost all of the in the theater, at least for the first time. Yet, I don't think either "Unforgiven" or "Pale Rider" would crack my top 50. But it was obvious in our discussions back on the previous discussions on Yahoo that most of the participants had virtually memorized the dialogue of Unforgiven.
I was also really fond of Sour Cream and Onion potato chips.
