4/11 GC

Well, it didn't take long for Wacha to cough up a run.

Figured as much. Maybe I'm just spitballing here, but wouldn't it behoove the manager to put one of the fastest, if not the fastest, player in the league at the top of the order? I know, it's crazy.

So much for that pitchers' duel McLaughlin was touting last night.

Re: 4/11 GC

I just got back to my desk from lunch. I don't know if its had any impact, but the wind today is crazy. It's probably gusting 30-40 mph. The blinds in my office windows are bouncing off the windows and the frames, not because they're moving, but because the building is clearly swaying with the wind.

I like the get away day lineups.  I used to think tlr was throwing in the towel but it seemed more often then not it worked out.

Re: 4/11 GC

Did Seager leave the game because he was hurt? He hasn't looked right in this series.

Seager left after getting hit by a pitch.

Re: 4/11 GC

Sure looked like Bader mis-timed his jump.  Nice play.

Re: 4/11 GC

Usually it is the cardinals giving away games.  Glad they are taking advantage of the dodgers coming apart.

And Kershaw's absence. He comes off the DL soon.

Re: 4/11 GC

AP, you said it felt like the kind of series that could result in a sweep.  You were right.

Re: 4/11 GC

Chris Davis' streak has reached 0 for 53.

However, Rosenthal finally retired a batter.  In fact, he retired 3.  He also walked 3 and gave up another run.  His ERA is now 72.00

Hey, at least he has an ERA now.
I know this version of the Dodgers isn't as obnoxious as some of its predecessors, but I'm still pretty jazzed they swept them.
