Since we have this down here, I suppose we should put the hockey talk where it belongs.
Crazy playoff so far. TB down 2-0, Penguins on the verge of elimination. Blues up 2-0
And still 2 months to go. 😂😂😂

You watching Game 3 or Game of Thrones tonight?

The 'Ning are 27 minutes away from going down 3-0. Stunning.

Yes. Been watching Game 3, but about to start GoT

Blues need to shake this one off and take Game 4.

The Bruins have played two good periods out of six and there are people in my fan group wondering who they're going to play in the Stanley Cup finals.

I hate Winnipeg. They're the biggest team in he league and they dive and embellish. And have you noticed Laine never blinks? I think he's an alien from another planet.

He's pretty pasty. We sure he's not a white walker?

Kadri has been suspended for the rest of the series.Â

I forgot they play a wimpy Hall & Oates song whenever one of the Maple Leafs scores. Silly Canadians.

Once again, the Boston Bruins lose a playoff game because the other team's goaltender played better than Tuukka Rask.

Colorado signs a kid who played a college hockey game this weekend and has him playing in game 3 of their playoff series.
Either this kid is really good, or that’s a pretty bad indictment of whoever is Colorado’s 6th defenseman.

Colorado just had a 2 minute 5 on 3. They eventually scored, but Smith might have had 6-7 saves before the goal. He looked like a duck in a shooting gallery.

Is that the kid from UMass? I saw him play twice this year, against the Q and then against Denver in the semifinals. He was the best player on the ice. By a lot.

Cale Makar. He just scored his first NHL goal

ASU's goalie made his NHL debut with Ottawa about three days after the Sun Devils were knocked out of the tournament. Though I'm not sure the Senators qualified as an actual NHL team this season.

Colorado is absolutely dominating this game

Didn’t get a chance to see the game. Did Boston not show up or did they just get beat by Andersen?

A little bit of both, but probably more of the former than the latter. It seemed like as the game went on and continued to be scoreless, the bench kept getting shorter and shorter. Backes had less than five minutes of ice time. What's the point of having him dress? And Toronto's speed is really starting to become noticeable.
I'm happy the Blues won. This has been maybe the craziest first round ever. The two top seeds in each conference are both gone, the Penguins got swept and Nashville is on the verge of elimination. There's a real possibility the only higher seeds to get through will be the Islanders and the Capitals.

The Blues were a 3 seed in the Central. I saw a graphic on Friday (after the Blues won game 5) that the Blues were the Western Conference favorite to win the Stanley Cup at 6-1.
If Dallas wins, the Blues will have home ice. I'm not sure I want it.
With Hellebuyck's elimination, my fantasy hockey team is probably sunk. It's the least I've ever cared about losing my fantasy goalie. Though I do still have Lehner, and the soon to be eliminated Mrazek.
I've watched a lot of the playoffs (more than normal). Calgary and Tampa suffered from the same issue: highly skilled players who had zero toughness. It's great during the season, but when the referees swallow their whistles in the playoffs, those teams have no chance. If I'm Calgary, when the time comes, I'm extending Matthew Tkachuk, and trying to find a trade partner for Johnny Gaudreau. I'm not sold that Gaudreau can lead that team very deep in the playoffs. He pretty much disappeared until Game 5 when he had several chances but missed each one.

Second period was the best period the Bruins have played in the playoffs.
Have you ever sensed a hockey crowd this tense? If the Bruins hold on and win this, every sphincter in central Ontario will snap shut.

Although I could do without Kadri, a Blues-Leafs final would be cool from a historical perspective.
