6/29 GC

Taking in my first Memphis game. Of course the Cardinals called up O’Neill and Thomas, so goodness knows who’s actually playing

Arozarena- RF
Sosa- SS
Nogowsli- 1B
Knizner- C
Garcia- CF
Ruvelo- LF
Schrock- 3B
Lopez- 2B
Hauschild- P

Playing Miami’s AAA affiliate. Anyone any good is already in Miami, but Magneuris Sierra and Lewis Brinson are 2 names I recognize.

Re: 6/29 GC

Enjoy the game. Maybe you'll even see the home team score some runs.

Re: 6/29 GC

Hudson vs. Paddack or Paddock or Haddock or some other mediocre pitcher who will hold the Cardinals to three hits over six innings.

Re: 6/29 GC

Losing 5-1 going to the bottom of the 5th. Memphis has 2 hits. It’s a lot like watching the Cardinals.

And Mike Mayers can’t get out hitters at this level either.

Actually, Paddack was a highly regarded prospect coming into this season. SD sent him down for a bit to limit his innings because he’s not that far removed from TJ surgery, but he’s a legit pitcher. His change up is filthy

There's your run, Hudson. Make it count.

After Edmonds said his changeup has been inconsistent, he threw a nasty one to DeJong that broke down about a foot and a half and in about six inches. DeJong didn't come close to making contact.

Re: 6/29 GC

Helsley just threw a 100 mph fastball that bounced about 6 feet in front of home plate, bounced up and caught the home plate umpire in the elbow. And there are only 3 umpires to start the game

Re: 6/29 GC

Hudson is in the midst of the most frustrating inning of the season so far - HBP, walk, error (his own), RBI groundout by the pitcher, K, infield single by Tatis and bloop single by Hosmer.

Re: 6/29 GC

And Machado just hit one to San Yisidro. On an 0-2 pitch.

6-3 loss. Knizner looked good.

Re: 6/29 GC

Machado hit his second homer of the game and it took him about four minutes to circle the bases.

Re: 6/29 GC

The Cardinals just got their first hit since Edman's leadoff homer. And Pancake is stomping around the mound like he's Luis Tiant dominating the '75 Reds.

Re: 6/29 GC

We were probably 1 hit away from winning a Rolex. You had to guess the time the game ended. We were off by 3 minutes and 28 seconds. Probably needed one more batter

Re: 6/29 GC

I've never seen this many people still into a 12-2 ballgame this late.
