The Astros aren't as good as they think they are.

When healthy, their lineup may be the best in baseball. But I’m not sure how deep they can get with the back end of their rotation. Wade Miley, Brad Peacock and a random 5th guy isn’t going to scare anyone.

Urquidy looked pretty good on Friday.
I'm wondering if the Cardinals ever inquired with the Pirates about Gerrit Cole. Considering the price the Astros paid, the Cardinals would have had to come up with a package of say - Flaherty, Gomber, O'Neill and maybe Sosa - but would you do it for a 27-year-old starter who could be your ace for a decade?
Than again, the Pirates would be pretty dumb to trade the best starting pitcher they've had since Doug Drabek to a team within the division.

There's a lot of belief that the Astros pitchers are cheating.  It seems like every pitcher that goes there gets much, much better.  Verlander has regained his Cy Young form.  Cole had never struck out more than 202 batters in a season in a league where he faces pitchers, but he's on pace to strike out 300 in a league with a DH.  Charlie Morton suddenly became good in Houston.

But, whatever's happening, they haven't been caught.  And Morton has been good in TB.

Interesting, because the Asstros were so good at playing the victim when the Cardinals pulled their little cybergeek prank a few years ago.
