Considering taking the girls to see their first game on 8/11 for a 1:15 afternoon game. I know espn has the right to move games to evening time on sunday for national television but i wouldnt think this would be a game that would be highly considered.
Thoughts on getting cheap tickets? My girls are 9 and 11. It will be more about seeing the ballpark than the game. Stubhub and wait till the last 24hrs?

StubHub is probably your best option unless you’re also bringing the wife. Then you might want to look to see if the Cardinals are offering some sort of family deal that will include tickets, some food and maybe a souvenir.

Good advise. Says if we sit in rf/lf pavilion on a sunday game we get a hot dog and coke. Those tickets are about 16 bucks on stubhub. Doesnt seem bad considering those items would cost 10 bucks

Aren't the right field stands notorious for being hot during day games?
I don't think you have to worry about ESPN moving the game to a night game. They have Giants/Phillies scheduled. Both of those teams are in contention and represent bigger markets.

I sat in rf for a scorcher. I wont sit there again. They were free seats tho.
