Maybe pitch around Suarez this time?

I love the return of small ball, defense, baserunning, and havoc on the basepaths to Cardinal baseball. When the "powers that be" decided, in the late '80s/early '90s, that only home runs mattered to fans, they screwed up the game IMO.

I think that's true of basketball and football, too. I've said to the point of annoying people that the 3-pointer has made the NBA unwatchable. And I have no problem with a football game that ends in a score of, say, 14-10. But the leagues have to cater to low information fans in pink hats and replica jerseys who like big moments.

Is it greedy to ask for a sweep?

With seven head-to-head against the Cubs yet to come, I'd say get all the wins you can.

Nice work by Brewers' bullpen, striking out Caratini, Rizzo, and Feyward with Bryant sitting at second. Brewers 1-0 after eight.

I suppose we can allow Yelich’s HR today.

The best part was Rizzo standing at the plate for 15 seconds like he was going to get strike four.

Welp...can't win 'em all. Still gained a half game on Chicago today.
