Should have just forfeited.

Looks like the Cardinals are preparing for the Wild Card game.

Is that the last we've seen of Michael Wacha in a St. Louis uniform?

I completely forgot they were playing today and just turned it on and saw the lineup.
If they do manage to win, does it count in the standings or does Memphis get credit for the victory?

That went downhill quickly
Let's hope the lead isn't down to 1 by Friday.

I understand it's a day game after a 19-inning night game, but geez ...

With wacha on the mound, briefly

Cant hardly blame the B team line on this one.

Nice of the Reds to show up.

Should Shildt skip Flaherty's start this weekend so he can pitch in the Wild Card game?

Brewers rolling the Reds again today. Having to sweep Chicago to win the division is not the position we'd hoped to be in. Hopefully the team rises to the challenge.

Kinda half thought the Reds might be a factor today with their best hurler on the mound … Nahhh

Give the Brewers credit for continuing to win. Bottom line, if Martinez isn't unavailable due to menstrual cramps and they win that Sunday game against the Brewers, they're 3 up with 3 to play.

Speaking of Martinez, why was he not used in either save situation Tuesday night?

Just a guess, but I think there were 2 reasons: 1) he had pitched in 5 of the 6 previous games, and 2) Arizona had loaded its lineup with switch hitters who hit better from the left side. Probably more reason 1, but I think reason 2 may have influenced the decision as well.
