If this ends badly, it’s on Schildt. Wainwright was left in at least one and probably 3 too many batters. When Miller walks in a run (or worse), the only reason is because the “manager” didn’t have the nerve to go pull a veteran pitcher who was clearly on fumes. .

They got out of it. I am okay with sending waino out in the 8th but like i said....he gave up a hit and he should of been pulled.

Martinez makes it much easier for me to not care about today’s game or the series. I truly loathe him, and it’s hard for me to root for him. Unfortunately, they can’t move him this off-season because they’d be selling low, but if he never pitched again as a Cardinal I’d be fine with that.
