If Martinez had blown that game in the 9th, they should've fired Schildt on the spot. That was Matheny-like stubbornness.
Maybe he got a positive by getting him in and out of the game without making things worst.
Game 5 should be interesting. It will be all hands on deck. Id think waino and Mikolas would be available to a degree. Shitty thing about both of those guys is they are dependent on their breaking stuff working. In a one inning stint it is always hard to tell if they will have a feel for it.

He just doesnt do dumb stuff. He let a ball bounce of his mitt that advanced a runner and him and carps mix up on the pop fly were both very out of character. Especially for this big of game.
