What was the deal on the grounder to Pujols that he halfassed and let the tieing run cross the play. Jack Clark is a jackass but I tend to agree with his latest comments.

Half-assed is right. There was no reason for them to lose that game - except for pitching issues but the lackadaisica defense was pitiful.

He called the Cardinals "quitters". La Russa took exception. That should have been the end of it, but then, Bloviator Maximus (BM) had to rant: Hey, I said pretty much the same thing and didn't get as much attention as Clark, WTF?!? Come on, get into a hissy fit with me, too> I said it FIRST!
