Hey, three outs in a row. I think that breaks yesterday's record.

If Moseley keeps getting Tom Glavine's strike zone, it's going to be a long day. He won't throw a strike until he has to.

Garcia's location isn't great so far, but he's changing speeds well. The first pitch cutter he threw to DeNofrio was nasty.

Jorge Cantu looks like the gay pirate on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' old helmets.

Hrabosky just said "intrical." That's not a word, irregardless of how it's used.

Pujols is gonna try and break Miggy Tejada's record.
Offline
Berkman is a ball player.

One sure way to be a bad baseball team is to not turn routine double plays.

Hey look. Garcia pitched great and the Cards win. I wonder if that will stem any of the mass hysteria on this board. There's 159 games left. Perspective people.

Good call letting Jaymee go out there for the ninth.

My wife gets to climb into the tub tomorrow morning without having to push aside my limp, lifeless body hanging from the shower rod.

So the worst pitcher in ST throw a CG in his first start and Pujols has left most the roster stranded on base this season.

Being 1-2 after facing the Padres puts things in perspective just fine. This is the first game I didnt watch. Maybe if I dont watch any more games they will win 159 more games.

Stopper. What a nice job by Garcia, that kid is nails. Some other observations...
1. Dan Descalso is a player. Really like him.
2. Theriot and Skip are driving me crazy, they both have their heads shoved up their arses. Descalso's gonna have The Riot's job before long.
3. I'm already getting sick to my stomach when I see Miguel Batista warming up in the bully.
4. Pleased with myself for correctly identifying Rasmus as Hollywood 69 the first time I saw him play. Those red glasses really complete the look... bet they're hanging from the rv mirror of his Trans-Am right now. I know he's on our side, but its really hard to like Hollywood.
1. He brings a pantload of energy, but his arm from third is a little too erratic. But I'll allow I'm still spoiled by the memory of Scott Rolen.
2. Ditto. Skippy seems to be regressing.
3. Batista wasn't any good when he was in his prime, and he's five years past it.
4. Rasmus' main problem is he's just not very smart. And you don't have to be very smart to be a good baseball player.
And I figured out what Berkman's problem is. He's wearing #12.

With Latos on the DL, and at home.

I am and have been a HUGE Garcia supporter. Check any of my posts and see that I was saying this guy was the #1 stopper the Cards needed after Wainwright flamed out. (embarrassed)

As I understand it, if a person says it, it's a word, supposably anyway.

The urban dictionary gets it right.

Probably a local colloquialism resulting from combining the words integral and intricate .

Baltimore's 3-0
Boston is 0-3
Kansas City took 3 of 4 from Anaheim and Pittsburgh took 2 of 3 from the Cubs.
I'm not saying we're going to win the division, but we didn't lose it this weekend either.

Friggin' optimists ... can you please just let me wallow in my misery long enough to enjoy it?
