I'm glad Tony is recognizing that Craig needs to start over Jay every single day. It would be really easy for The Meddler to think those two need a platoon.

Craig has been damn impressive if you ask me. It has only been a few games but if can be this productive over the course of the season it is going to be hard to find him the playing time he deserves. Him walking twice and having not struck out yet is a good start.

This game isnt offered in HD. I think I am getting spoiled because it sucks.

Is it me, or does Ryan Doumit hit about .800 against the Cardinals and .125 against the rest of the National League?

Maybe Berkman can play second base?

Agree on Craig. When Holliday went down, it was my hope that Craig would get most of the ABs. He's been one of the few bright spots on this team, particularly on offense. Berkman has been fine, but I'm not sure they couldn't have received the same (or pretty similar) production from Craig and put that $8M toward something with a greater need.

If Freese's slow start goes on for the whole month the I wouldnt mind seeing how much Craig's defense at third would cost them.
