    Is this Greene's first playing time?


    I wonder when Holliday is going to return.  This would have been his 8th day on the DL had they choosen to place him there.

    Pujols is pressing like hell with runners on.  He has got 5 DPs already and his choking has cost the Cardinals a couple games at least.

    Sanchez has throw 63 pitches in 3 innings.  That number should be even higher.

    My optimism for Freese was clearly misplaced. I think he's looked worse than any other hitter.

    So you got a guy 0-1 and then decided to give him the IBB. 

    Pujols left 5 guys on base and had a key error costing the Cardinals the game.  Call it the contract or just a slump, i dont care, Pujols has never played this bad.

    By the end of this season, the rotation will be Carp, Garks, Lohse, and Westbrook and McClellan will be fighting for #4 and #5.

    The whole FA signing of Westbrook will be viewed as an effort to justify the Ludwick for Westbrook "trade", which YOU, TK, snuffed out from the get-go was more of a salary dump than it was a legitimate move to make the playoffs.
