They apparently shipped their bats to the next city.
Oh well, by finishing the game in just under 2 hours, they don't have to worry about missing their flight.

Question for Mags: What's the deal with Mark Hamilton? Wearing sunglasses for his first ML at bat? And I think he needs to swing harder. The folks in the upper deck at Miami's stadium need to feel the breeze on a hot day, too.

Question for Mags: What's the deal with Mark Hamilton? Wearing sunglasses for his first ML at bat? And I think he needs to swing harder. The folks in the upper deck at Miami's stadium need to feel the breeze on a hot day, too.
I have to confess that I didn't see a single game this past season, for various reasons. We had tickets for Saturday night's playoff game had there been one but they were eliminated Friday night.
And I missed today's game too. When I saw it was a day game, I cut my office hours a little short but by the time I got home fors was applauding the return of the two hour game.

I saw two at bats - Molina's double and Hamilton's fly out.
