So Milo Hamton is saying that Berkman didnt treat Astro fans far because he is better shape this year then in years past.  What an asshole.  The guy had a hall of fame career and the first year he didnt produce they traded him.  Berkman would have been happy to spend his whole career in Houston.

Milo Hamilton is a flat-out jerk. I think he thinks baseball was invented so he could call games on the radio.

Hey, did we really just score runs off of Cy Norris or is that a typo on my TV screen?

unearned runs.

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

hey, hey, hunter pence: an outfielder who looks worse than ours on balls over his head.

that looked pretty uncoordinated for a major leaguer.

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

Ha! We'll see your Bud Norris and raise you a Daniel Descalso. I'm guessing that's the first IBB of his career.

Hunter Pence always looks uncoordinated. After baseball, he's going to be a stunt double for Quasimodo.

I got home from work in the top of the 4th. Did these doorknobs really just boo Lance Berkman?

They said there were some boos but it looke to me like they show respect to him for the most part.

I don't like the way this inning is shaping up ...

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

Terrible play by Freese, but walking Bill Hall (twice now) was inexcusable.

Bill Hall of Famer would disagree.

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

How in the world does Freese take that pitch? What was he expecting? That Fulchino was suddenly going to unleash a gyroball?

Man oh man, Rasmus can kiss that Rookie of the Year award goodbye if he keeps making plays like that.

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

I mean really. The guy throws two sliders that are low and three fastballs over the plate. He doesn't want to go 3-2 with the go-ahead run on base, so WTF does Freese think he's going to get? Geezus. Baseball players can be so stupid sometimes.

Not at all. By overthrowing the cutoff man, Rasmus cleverly set up the IBB to Lee and then the double play. It's brilliant baseball.

Yeah, but his .220 avg. might support my case.

Actually, I need Bill Hall of Famer for a week or two. I had to pick him up to replace an injured Aaron Hill. It was either Hall or Darwin Barney and I just couldn't bring myself to draft a Cub named after a purple dinosaur and the father of evolution.

Interesting hypothesis.  Now explain why the throw to home was so far off target.

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

I want to get this on record right now.

Obviously Hamilton is first to go when either Craig or Schumaker come back, but if Descalso goes down when the second one comes back, I'm flipping a double bird toward Dewitt and the stadium. I might even drop my pants and shake my dick at him just on principle.

And WTF is Larussa doing bring Albert up with a base open. Jesus, here comes a 9-6 forceout.

Never mind.

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

Nope.  That pop-out just about sealed the deal, and Rasmus simply isn't going to win RoY, no matter how badly his dad thinks he deserves it.

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

funny hit by wallace.  was it just me or did it seem that descalso might have been playing a little bit too close toward first base to let that grounder slip past him?

Re: 4/26 Gamecrap - Ugh

Rasmus and/or Holliday needs to get a big hit soon because I can feel Short Attention Span Theater warming up.

What a friggin' throw by Molina. Wow.

Oh, look at that. Motte's missing bats. That would've been nice two innings ago while trying to protect a 3-2 lead. But I'm not a Genius.

I dont thin TLR wanted to use Pujols at all but he knew he would draw the walk.
