I'd have to go back and look, but Berkman might have as many RBI in April as Artie and Max projected him to have for the season.

i'd be really surprised if descalso is sent down anytime soon.  greene has earned his trip back to memphis, and jay, were it not for one really good month last year would be high in contention for a trip back to AAA as well.

if it becomes really uncomfortable, from a personnel management standpoint, they'll manufacture some injury.  but i think there's almost no chance descalso gets sent back the way he's been playing D at 3b and 2B.

i think my most extreme serious criticism was that he'd be out for the season by the ASB, which could still happen.

it is true that i didn't expect him to be effective at all, and thought his career was over.  but it may be that the knee injury/surgery /he'll get better hypothesis was true.  kudos to whoever scouted that out correctly.

The Astros have had the lead-off runner reach base seven consecutive innings. That's pitiful.
